Amy & Jordan – Port Stephens Wedding
What can I say about the wedding of Amy and Jordan??? PLENTY!!
Two amazing individuals who make one amazing couple. Amy is one of the strongest people I have met in a long time, ( and I’m old so I’ve met lots of people ), Jordan is one of the kindest people I’ve met. Put these two together and I can tell you great things will happen for them and they will create great things. How can I say this, well they are surrounded by loving, funny, strong and selfless people, the kind of people we all want and need in our lives.
I arrived at where Amy and her bridesmaids were getting married and wow they were calm, relaxed and on cloud nine. Immediately they asked me what they can do to help me and what I needed done. All I could say was nothing just enjoy yourselves. They were organised and not once did we run out of time, pretty impressive. The bridesmaids also made sure Amy was relaxed and cared for and their number one attention at all times.
As I set about my business I listened to them laughing and fussing over Amy and honestly this is one person who deserves to be fussed over. The girls all looked amazing but Amy just took my breath away she looked stunning. The bridal prep went smoothly with no dramas just what us photographers love. When I arrived at the ceremony location I was met by a group of young men who were laughing, relaxed and having a ball and also so polite, their mums would be so proud!! They were such delights, ( they are now pulling faces as they read this ).
The ceremony had to be moved at last minute because of the rain but that didn’t bother anyone and it was a beautiful ceremony and the bride and groom couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. The rain continued but didn’t dampen our spirits as we chose inside locations for their photos. Murray’s Brewery really is a great place to have your wedding day as it accommodates any sort of weather.
I cant put into words about the raw emotion of their wedding day so please look at their images below and you will feel the emotion….I will stop writing now because I think the photos are more important that what I say..xx
Please click on each image to view large and believe me you will want to see them large.
the locket on Amy’s bouquet had sentimental value, it was her Grandmothers and inside held a photo of her mum on one side and Amy as a child on the other side..
